Little Life Skills guide

A preschool morning routine children can actually follow.

A useful visual routine is short, visible, and matched to what really happens in your home or classroom. Start with the sequence you already use instead of adding extra tasks just to fill a chart.

A simple way to set it up

  1. Choose 6–8 real morning steps.
  2. Put the pictures where the routine happens, not where adults store paperwork.
  3. Keep the order stable long enough for the sequence to become familiar.
  4. Use one simple completion action: a checkbox, dry-erase mark, or move-to-done card.
  5. If mornings differ, remove steps instead of forcing one chart to cover every day.
